We have been a frequent visitor to this small restaurant near the
NBO Ghobra, the Momo king. Stepping into this eatery you can find
pictures and artifacts which gives a perfect backdrop or ambience to
transcned to Nepal for a while.
Records say the
birth place of Momos is China which is famous for dumplings.
Originating in China and journeying through Tibet before finding its way
to Nepal and India, the momo carries with it centuries of tradition and
cultural exchange. The Newari tribes, known for their prowess in trade,
brought along the art of momo-making, infusing it with their own unique
flavors and techniques.
