Records say the birth place of Momos is China which is famous for dumplings. Originating in China and journeying through Tibet before finding its way to Nepal and India, the momo carries with it centuries of tradition and cultural exchange. The Newari tribes, known for their prowess in trade, brought along the art of momo-making, infusing it with their own unique flavors and techniques.

From the Chinese "dimsim" to the Tibetan "Mog Mog," and Momos , it has evolved and reformed into various tastes and flavours

As Momos came to India Momos got variants like chocolate, spicy, tandoor, pan , chinese  and so on and so forth.We sampled a variety of options, including the classic steamed momos,  the crispy pan-fried momos, the chinese momos and the soup of momos- the dumplings in chicken broth..
